Kaplan University is committed to the students of California.
As a California student, you may be aware that classes and degree programs are being cut due to state budget concerns. At Kaplan University, we don’t think anyone should have to delay or miss out on their education, which is why we’re offering this new scholarship program available only to California residents who are ready to take the next step toward achieving their educational goals.*
Experiential Learning Scholarship
The Experiential Learning Scholarship is available to California residents who have enrolled in our portfolio development course (EL 203). This scholarship covers the $1,500 course fee, which pays for evaluation of the student’s experiential learning portfolio; where eligible college credits are awarded based on the knowledge and experience gained in one’s personal and professional life.
The portfolio development process and scholarship offer the following valuable advantages:
- Teaches you how to present experiential learning from work and life experiences for academic credit
- Could decrease the time and cost of earning a degree and enable you to advance to more challenging classes and curriculum faster
